Ping host

Pings a host or IP address. This command sends a ping message to a host and waits for the reply message.

Host name

Specify the name or IP address of the host.

Timeout

Specify a timeout period, in milliseconds, a command must wait for the echo reply message.

Variable name

The name of the variable whose value will be equal the reply time in msec. If the host does not respond then it equals zero.

Error message

If you check this box, an error message will be displayed in case the operation fails.

Output log message

If you check this box, the reply time will be shown (milliseconds).
